REPAIR YOUR OWN CREDIT

Follow along for my basic credit repair strategy and be sure to share your success stories!

1. Obtain your credit report from PrivacyGuard.com or visit each of the largest credit bureaus to obtain your detailed reports.

2.Review you report and take note of any:
-Late payments
-Negative marks
-Incorrect information
-Accounts older than 7 years (10 years for bankruptcies)

3. Fill out and send this letter via paper mail to the credit bureau reporting these negative mark(s):
To Whom It May Concern:
I received a copy of my credit report and found the following item(s) to be errors. See the attached copy of my credit report; the errors have been highlighted. Here as follows are items in error(s):

1. Validate Account
    COMPANY REPORTING ACCOUNT
    Account Number: XXXXX
    Please investigate and delete from my credit report.

2. Sample Reason
    COMPANY REPORTING ACCOUNT
    Account Number: XXXXXX
    Please investigate and delete from my credit report.

 I demand CREDIT BUREAU NAME investigate and remove these items from my report. You may check the above items with the creditor who has posted them. If the information is not completely verified I would like them to be removed from my credit report. Under 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681i(a), you have 30 days to investigate these items upon receipt of this letter. 

Please send an updated copy of my credit report to the above address.

4. While disputing negative items you must build good credit by:
-Reducing your credit card balances down to 20-30% usage
-Increase your on time payments and number of accounts you have open with this credit builder card (100% approval)
-Diversify the types of accounts you have with this self lender program  
- Decrease your student loans with the Student Loan Recovery Group 

5. If any negative items are: Judgments, Medical Debts, or come back as "verified" contact me within 30 days of receiving the credit bureau's response for further assistance!
